The National Park KRKA WATERFALLS is located in the hinterland of the city of ŠIBENIK or the city of SKRADIN. The attractive KRKA WATERFALLS which are made up of THE ROŠKI SLAP and THE SKRADINSKI BUK, the stair-like waterfalls represent an exceptional experience for all those that love natural rarities, ecologically clean laces and historical destinations.
Other than the area of the KRKA WATERFALLS being an exceptionally attractive place with its cascading waterfalls, beautiful and endemic fauna, it lets its guests bathe in the clean KRKA river.
In the maritime zone of the KRKA WATERFALLS there are convents with small attractive islands which offer insight to their church treasury; on the small island of VISOVAC there is a Franciscan monastery whose beginnings and founding dates to the 14th century and the KRKA MONASTERY which was also founded during the middle of the 14th century and is lead by Orthodox priests. The vicinity of the city of ŠIBENIK offers the guests the possibility to visit the ancient city, to become insight into its past including the famous Cathedral built up by JURAJ DALMATINAC.
