The National Park  KRKA WATERFALLS is located in the hinterland of the city of ŠIBENIK or the city of SKRADIN. The attractive KRKA WATERFALLS which are made up of THE ROŠKI SLAP and THE SKRADINSKI BUK, the stair-like waterfalls represent an exceptional experience for all those that love natural rarities, ecologically clean laces and historical destinations.

Other than the area of the KRKA WATERFALLS being an exceptionally attractive place with its cascading waterfalls, beautiful and endemic fauna, it lets its guests bathe in the clean KRKA river.

In the maritime zone of the KRKA WATERFALLS there are convents with small attractive islands which offer insight to their church treasury; on the small island of VISOVAC there is a Franciscan monastery whose beginnings and founding dates to the 14^th century and the KRKA MONASTERY which was also founded during the middle of the 14^th century and is lead by Orthodox priests. The vicinity of the city of ŠIBENIK offers the guests the possibility to visit the ancient city, to become insight into its past including the famous Cathedral built up by JURAJ DALMATINAC.

The ZRMANJA river is located 80 km south of NOVALJA. The Canyon where the river passes before the inlet into the sea is very impressive, it reminds of the atmosphere of canyons of the wild west, which made the producers choose this place of the ZRMANJA river for the filming of Wineetou.

Both small islands are full of sandy beaches, peach and unpolluted environment

The western part of the island from JAKIŠNICA to LUN is an area of the autochthonous olive sort OBLICE.

In the area of LUN there is an olive park whose age is estimated to be several centuries old According to research of eminent European institutes, some olives date back from the late antic times, and their age is estimated at 1500 years.

The visit to the park includes the visit to the so called  Novaljski stanovi , Novalja old shepherd houses where some families still live and produce the famous Pag cheese.

The famous excursion destination on the northwestern part of LIKA. A large group of small lakes which make cascades with many small and large waterfalls. The area of the PLITVICE LAKES is an area of protected national park with endem plants and various fauna

Staying at PLITVICE LAKES is possible by visiting the shorter or longer pedestrian route. Visiting is possible with the same price of the ticket and with electric train, it is possible to rent boats with electric motors since drive on liquid fuel is prohibited. A true natural paradise.
