The connection of riding a bike, swimming, diving, sailing or mountain climbing will not leave anybody indifferent. If you leave five or ten kilometers from some place on the island, you will find yourself surrounded by untouched nature.
In the July and August Pag guests many classical tourists so avoid using the main roads of the island. But all other months “belong” to bikers and a combination of roads and trails has no limits.
Regardless how long your vacation lasts, you will miss the time to ride on all the trails you intended. The trails especially stay in your memory in May when the lavender and sage is blossoming and they turn the island into an unreal world
Anybody that rides the trails on the island of Pag once asked themselves where they are – amazed by the completely different pictures on the island.
The Pag bay is suitable and safe for diving, especially in the shallower and central parts of the bay the currents are not strong and there are also no great oscillations in the temperature of the sea.
We don’t suggest diving at the exit of the Pag bay because in that place the currents are stronger and there is no shelter in case of a storm.
The bottom of the Pag bay is mostly sandy and in its central part there are a few stone cuttings which are places the fishermen catch fish. Viewing the bottom at the coast is a special experience for anyone that deals with diving because the seascape is very interesting. There are numerous holes, and small caves interesting to the lovers of underwater photography.
In Pag, during the summer, there are several active diving clubs that have diving schools. Namely, diving, no matter how safe it is in the Pag bay, can always be dangerous for those that are inexperienced or don’t know the basic principles of going to the bottom.
On the western part of the Pag bay divers can find large amounts of various clams. For example, there are a large number of pen-shells but it is forbidden to take them out. They are pearl shells which can grow up to one meter in height.
The divers find the sea bottom of Caska interesting as well because in certain parts, in the mud, they can notice a certain detail of the sunken city. We suggest to the experienced divers to dive in the Slana bay because the seascape is very attractive, interesting and filled with unusual, picturesque rocks, covered with high grass, small caves and one large and very beautiful cave where we suggest you don’t enter without an experienced diving guide.
Fishing is not allowed in the Pag bay with the underwater rifle if you are diving with bottles. Otherwise, anybody who wishes to dive is obligated to get the pertaining permit which is issued by the harbor in Pag.
